Patient Recovery Process

Maggie, Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty, 21

Maggie is a lovely young lady. She’s 21 years old and is self-conscious of the hump on her nose, as well as the width. She notes that glasses or sunglasses don’t ‘fit’ her face very well. As you can see, she’s beautiful already but desires some refinements to her nose. Going into the procedure, I was really looking forward to getting her nose more balanced with her face so that her beautiful blue eyes can be the primary focus!

Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty was performed, which is a gentler form of rhinoplasty. No hammers or chisels. No breaking bones. This combined with my other advanced techniques allowed her to heal extremely fast and not have any pain or discomfort after surgery. Her breathing was also significantly improved during this procedure!

1 Week Post-Op

This first set of photos is 1 week after Maggie’s Surgery - she’s just gotten the external cast off 4 minutes ago. As you can see, the bridge is much narrower (one of her big goals with this procedure).

What we notice is that she is swollen as expected, but is totally ready for social outings, restaurants or any other engagement. The tip is not very defined yet secondary to the swelling. Overall, the nose looks really nice but doesn’t have much definition of the tip/bridge etc.

1 MONTH POST-OP

Maggie's swelling has begun to subside but is still notable. She’s really starting to love the results and the definition to the nose is starting to reveal itself, but is a process!

Her side profile is outstanding. The tip definition is better than immediately after cast removal but still has a long way to go!

1 YEAR POST-OP

This set of photos is 1 year after surgery. Her eyes really pop now, and her nose just fits her face.

My favorite thing about her outcome is that her bridge is much more narrow - a big desire of hers! Her tip is also so gorgeous, refined and defined, but NOT pinched or weird looking!

During this time, she launched her career after graduate training and is super confident in the work force!

This outcome is now stable and should not change much from this point forward.
